The Merced County Library and the Center for the Humanities at UC Merced will be hosting a Local Author Fair on Nov. 5, 2022 at the downtown library location in Merced. We are putting out this call for authors to participate – genres include but are not limited to: scholarly, fiction, non-fiction, teen, and children’s books.

We will be offering tabling space for a select number of authors just outside the library, in a shaded area, where they can sell copies of their own books and also sign their books and interact with the fair’s attendees.  We also plan activities inside the library throughout the author fair – which may include roundtable discussions or workshops featuring local authors.
