The Biomimicry Institute (TBI) is applying for an Outdoor Equity Program Grant (offered
through the California Department of Parks and Recreation) that runs from 2022-2024.
The purpose of the grant is to reach underserved communities* in California by
strengthening their connection to the natural world. Our experiential nature trips (at no
cost to community members) would improve health and wellness through participation
in educational and recreational activities at the zoo, in the forest and at the ocean. We
want to create multigenerational programs that meet your needs. To make our times
together meaningful, we need your input. Please join via zoom and/or fill out this
Google Form, it should take 5-7 minutes including the 2 minute video, to help us define
the vision and logistics for the programs below.
