The Merced Applegate Park Zoo is hosting its Easter Egg-stravagnaza beginning on April 1^st-April 4^th during regular Zoo hours Thursday-Friday (10am-3pm) and Saturday-Sunday (10am-4pm).  Fun filled easter inflatables will surround different exhibits and photo backdrops will be available for family photos.  Kids can also participate in an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt as objects are hidden throughout the Zoo.  Saturday, April 3^rd, there will be a special guest appearance by the Easter Bunny.  Special appearance times will follow.  Families will also have an opportunity to purchase Easter Egg Activity Kits for a small fee in addition to admission. The entrance fee cost is $3 per person per adult (16yrs-62), ages 5yrs-15yrs is $2, 62yrs and older is $1.50, and  children under 5 are free.  The event is held at Applegate Park Zoo, 1045 W. 25^th St., Merced.
