The ‘Society of Women Engineers’ club at the University of Merced, California, is hosting a free conference on campus, called “Expanding Your Horizons (EYH)”, on March 16th 2024, from 8am to 2pm.

Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) is a conference aimed towards girls in middle and high school. This event will include hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). At the conference, girls will get a chance to meet STEM role models and learn more about careers in those fields. Our ultimate goal is to motivate girls to become innovative and creative thinkers.

The event is free to attend; lunch is included, as well as a free T-shirt! Walk-ins is also an option, but registering before means you’ll have a greater chance of getting your workshop preference.

After you register, please be sure to fill out the 2 waivers to ensure attendance to the conference.
